Battle With Evil
The devil said to Jesus, “If you are the Son of God, tell
this rock to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written
{in the Scriptures }: ‘It is not just food that keeps people
alive.’”— Luke 4:3-4 (ERV)
But, what are we to learn from this battle?
First, Satan knows when, where, and how to attack our vulnerabilities.
Second, his enticements are often targeted as a shortcut to a real need. However, our relationship with God, the power of the Holy Spirit in us, and the internalization of biblical truth can help us win our battles, too.
