Scripture: Joel 2:10,11

Joel 2:10 says that this army evokes visible signs and wonders and that manifestations follow them. They are not waiting for an earthquake, they are releasing them! They even cause the heavens to tremble, the sun and the moon to grow dark and the stars be diminished. This is an army that fully comprehends the judicial Christ and actually believes they are carrying out God?s purpose and plan in the earth. This army is stunning because of verse 11. It says, ?The LORD gives voice before His army, For His camp is very great; For strong is the One who executes His word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; Who can endure it The army that is described here physically executed justice on wayward covenant Israel. And yet, we are told that this army will be seen again in the distant future. This is a picture of God?s end-time army who, not only executes His will, but harvests the earth. We know that from the other verses that promising that harvest in Joel 2:23-27. Do we look like this army? Does the church we attend look like this army? If not, why not?
